What is the Regional Convention?

NEBLSA is a regional affiliate of the student-run, student-led National Black Law Students Association. We have always been a platform for elevating voices, fostering critical dialogue, and shaping the future of law and policy.

The 59th Regional Convention, themed “Our Presence is the Precedent”, offers a dynamic space where students, pre-law students, legal professionals, and partners come together to exchange ideas, build networks, and explore opportunities across the legal field.

Through immersive sessions, thought-provoking panels, and community-driven exchange, NEBLSA 58 seeks to:

Amplify emerging voices in law, advocacy, and public interest
Provide a forum for Big Law, public interest, and government practitioners to connect with the next generation of leaders
Highlight competitive excellence through moot court and mock trial competitions
Support career exploration through a robust job fair featuring firms, agencies, and organizations. .
Illuminate pathways to transformation in legal education, practice, and policy
